Most of you know that on October 4th. We all celebrated World Card Making Day. WCMD is a holiday especially for card makers around the world. The first Saturday of each October CardMakers celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family.
Today I'm so VERY excited, thrilled and honored because one of my cards was chosen by lovely people at Paper Crafts Magazine as one of their favorite in the WCMD Event.
This is the card that they picked up:
This is where you can see it.
Kelly Smith from CKMedia emailed me a few days ago asking for my mailing address to send my prize! Can you believe it? I sure have a smile on my face!
Thank you Paper Craft Magazine for choosing my card!
That's it for me today.
Enjoy your Sunday.
Good morning to all my followers!
I’m just going about life with a very happy smile on my face. I really love and enjoy what I do; making cards and working on new projects is very relaxing and so sweet, I just love it… those things put a little tune in my heart.
...And since I’ve been lost for many days I have lots to share today. To start I’d love to share some tags I created for my next class. First off, let me tell you how much I love this particular set, each tag is so easy to work and truly beautiful.
The first one. For this one I used an Accucut die for the tag. Added some buttons and inked the edges of the tag so it gives the look that I love to see on them: vintage. I punched a circle and embossed the thank you with my embossing die from CuttleBug. Tied a ribbon around it and that is basically it. Easy right?
For this Happy Birthday tag I too cut the tag using another accucut die. I also cut the cupcake with a pattern, added some glitter and put a button at the top. Punched a little tag for the sentiment and make a knot at the top. Inked the edges for this one, too.
