Merry Christmas --Timeless Template Challenge

Good Morning friends!
Yesterday I missed to post my project for My Time's Challenge; my little one Joshua wasn't feeling very good, he got the flu (thank God he's feeling much better now and is back to normal, you know what I mean: noises, mess around etc)--so even though I had my project done, the photos were not ready to go online.
Our challenge for this week was to use one of Lauren's Templates to package candy. I know Christmas is around the corner, so I wanted to try this awesome "Tucked Away" box and look how beautiful my project turned out:

I plan to use this box filled with home baked goodies as a gift for my boy' friends at school on Christmas Day, it's a great idea! This box was so easy to put together, and I have to confess it's definitely one of my favorites that Lauren has designed.

If you are still looking for more great ideas using Lauren's Templates, stop by and check out what the rest of the team has whipped up for this week:
Now I am sure you are in the mood of making your own project, so please link it to Mr.Linky on Lauren's blog.
Have a great rest of the weekend!

Moxie Fab -- Old Friend card ...

Hello Girls, good morning! I honestly have to tell you that it wasn't in my schedule to have a post today, but when I visited Cath at Moxie Fab World and saw the latest Moxie Fab challenge she was hosting— well, I changed my mind and knew that I already had a card that would fit.

The challenge was to make something using a household item as a focal point. I took the chair image they have in their challenge post and printed it out, then I cut it and put it on top of my card. Love the ivory with black here, they look so rich and elegant together!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

My Time To Inspire Challenge --MTTI06

Yes! It's Saturday already! ... Sorry for being a little late today :) This week it's "My Time to Inspire Challenge" ... Sweet colors can make me so happy when I'm creating my cards or projects :) --this is what we have for this week's challenge, take a look:

I love these colors together because they are very inspiring, my card for this week is a vintage card, (I love vintage and for sure is my style).

The card reads "Brothers, need we say more? --I thought in my boys when making this card, they enjoy so much being together, playing with little cars ... or just being outside doing nothing. I love to see them while watching TV, sharing their pop corn :), it's funny 'cause they were born like yesterday!

I used my new embossing folder here, doesn't it look gorgeous? also Martha Stewart "Train Punch" -i love it!
I hope you can play along with us and have fun with the inspiration piece. Do not forget to hop on over to the rest of the Design Team and see what they have come up with, they will inspire you: Lauren, Kendra, Alicia, Maria, Tamara, Jen, Dana, Kristin, Lisa, Pam and Tracey.

And don't forget to link your creation to Mr.Linky here -(our Kristin is hosting this week)- for a chance to be included on Lauren's Top 5 next week!
See you soon with more creations! thanks for stop by :)

HaPpY bIrThDaY tO JoShUa !!

Good and blessed Sunday to everyone!
Today's post is very special for me. It's been three years since my little one Joshua came to this world, his arrival was unexpected because it wasn't the time for him to arrive, almost one month before due time! But he was perfect by then, he looked like a nine months newborn baby, his weight was 8 3/4 pounds ... He was born on Wednesday 6, September of 2006 at 1:20 in the afternoon ... here's two pictures of him just minutes after his birth ...

Following pictures were taken when he was six month old ... doesn't he look beautiful? I love these pictures of him :

He looks like a little angel in white! :)

this was using his pajamas ...

and this one, ready to take a shower --I always loved Joshua with long hair :)
And this is something I made for him on his special day

I made this elephant using an AccuCut die.

I always thank God for my little ones, Ethan and Joshua, for they bring so much happiness into my life, I also ask my Lord to keep them healthy, safe, in HIS way and happy!! :)
This is how Joshua looks like right now ...

Enjoy your day as much as I will ...

Hello Kitty Invitation ...

Yes, yes, yes! I know that I've been MIA for a while now. Please don't blame me! I've been working on a lot of stuff! ... wedding invitations (more than anything), more invitations for kid's party, my kids' school, my classes etc. Ah, I need a break! --But don't worry I am still alive :) and full of energy!
And since I haven't had time to make a card, today I will show you a "combo party invitation" I made for a little girl -who's name is Stephanie Marie-, she adores Hello Kitty and this is the motive of her birthday, take a look and let me know what you think ...

Don't these look gorgeous? I fell in love with it, oh yes I did and so did Stephie's mom. I like the pinky and girly look it has.

For the party favor I used Lauren Meader's template Pack a Picnic, and for Hello Kitty images, my Cricut Cartridge HELLO KITTY GREETINGS.

This is the invitation, the name of the person invited is in the back.

I had fun making the party favor, in here you can put all the candies for the girls, after they eat them they can use it for putting other stuff or many more incredibly essential things that we girls need every single day :)

Before I go, I'd like to thank all of you for all the sweet comments you leave in my posts. I always love to read them.
Have a happy day!

Trick or Treat ... smell my feet! :)

Good Monday people! We have a shining and beautiful morning today, I thank God for that ... and to share I have a project I made using some of my new stamps. They are all gorgeous! and I'll be using them now and then with more and new stuff :). Okay, I had to make this post really fast because I'll be heading to Santiago with my kids for a few days and I'm short of time. Here it is:

Yes! I am in Halloween mode ... I used sizzix die to make the box and the cat.

I wanted to show the box both ways, empty and with something inside so you have an idea of what you can put inside. This is great to give to our kids' school friends on Halloween Day filled with candies.

I don't want to leave without giving a big hello to those of you who have discovered my blog recently. Please take a moment to say hi, introduce yourself and share your blogs with me, so that I, in turn, can visit your little corner of the internet.
